ERGOLIFT
Why Ergolift is Best
EASY TO USE With the time constraints of caregivers today, a patient lift must be simple and easy to use in order to be efficient and reduce injuries. The Ergolift is ergonomically designed to make patient transfers simple with such ideas as: wheels that roll easily, a narrow profile to get into tight areas, long handles offering various grip choices for the tall and short and a contoured design to allow a clear walk space.
HIGH WEIGHT CAPACITY With the increasing number of heavy and obese patients, you need a lift that will help your caregivers in those special circumstances. With a 180 kg- 270 kg (400-600 lbs.) capacity, the Ergolift is certified to ensure that you are able to handle your heaviest patients.
LIFTING RANGE The Ergolift is designed to work in all situations. Lift a resident from the floor without manually lifting their shoulders while at the same time the Ergolift will transfer a resident onto the highest stretcher or bed.
MOTORIZED BASE Getting around large chairs or tight spaces is not a problem with the powered base. With a simple press of a button, the base will open to exactly the position you need. This powered base moves smoothly and gently and helps keep the lift stable- even when bumped. This feature is standard on our Ergolift - no additional charge!
INTEGRATED SMART CHARGER Having the lift ready to use all the time, anytime is extremely important. The high capacity batteries are stored in the base of the lift and allow approximately 110 transfers between charges- more than one days work. Since the batteries are not a memory type, the lift can be plugged in for any length of time, short or long, making it always ready for use. The charger is ultra-efficient and fully charges a low battery within 2 hours- though 15 minutes is enough to transfer that extra resident. The large batteries and smart charger work together to ensure your lift is always ready to go.
LOW BATTERY DETECTION SYSTEM To avoid a situation where the lift would not have enough power to perform a transfer, the caregiver is warned when the batteries are low - both with an audible "beep" and a flashing light. In addition to the low battery warning, the system will not allow a new transfer to begin should the batteries lack enough power, protecting them from permanent damage. However, if a transfer is already in progress when batteries loose power, the system is smart enough to ensure the patient can be safely lowered.
DURABLE CONTROLS It is extremely important that the lift be operational at all times. Accidents happen so our handsets are built sturdy and watertight. Our handsets are custom made to ensure they are able to withstand the bumps of normal, everyday use. Emergency controls located on the lift itself are easily accessible should the handset fail, allowing the patient to be safely lowered into a chair.
SOFT START AND STOP MOVEMENT The patient's comfort is extremely important. The soft start and stop electronics in the Ergolift ensures the lift moves gently without sudden or jolting movement.
FAST TRANSFER SPEED In the interest of making caregiver tasks more efficient, the fast, efficient motor transfers the patient with a comfortable pace. The lift operates quietly, so patients are more secure and relaxed when being transferred.
SAFETY FEATURES The Voyager Series lift has several features for emergency circumstances. The emergency stop, manual emergency lowering tab as well as the safety testing below ensure the patient and caregiver is protected and safe.
CSA 601.1/UL2601-1 & ISO 10535 CSA 601.1/UL2601-1 & ISO 10535 -This certification is provided by an independent third party and ensures the lift and charging system are 100% safe. The Voyager Series lift is in accordance with the new European standard that applies to equipment that transfers persons. The Voyager series lifts have passed a series of tests which, amoung other things, ensures the lift can hold 2.5 times its capacity and that the motor will do more than 10,000 cycles and still maintain its strength.
