The selectable EdgeSense� feature provides the nursing staff with a proactive, true early warning alarm if the patient is sitting on the edge of the bed about to fall. Unlike other systems available, the patient�s weight doesn�t have to be removed from the UltiMat� sensor before an alarm will sound. This just makes good sense. We call it EdgeSense�.
